New project funded by .SE - The Swedish Internet Infrastructure Foundation

Together with AV-Media Kronoberg and the Gapminder foundation, CeLeKT has been granted a new project by The Swedish Internet Infrastructure Foundation.

We want to provide teachers and students with web interactive tools and approaches to enhance the understanding of difficult social and economics phenomena using web visualizations related to very large statistical data. Interactive Web Visualizations for Better Understanding is the name of our project. We expect to develop several learning modules in order to explore new ways to use resources on the web. These modules will be implemented in close collaboration with stakeholders active in the educational sector in the Kronoberg region. The project will start in September 2010 and will end in 2011.
