Lisbeth Frølunde, PhD, holds a postdoctoral fellowship at CeLeKT. Her research focus is on digital storytelling in teacher education at Linnaeus University, Sweden and at Roskilde University, Denmark on Machinima (filmmaking in virtual worlds). Frølunde’s main interest is art and film production by young people in relation to multimodality and media literacy. Her theoretical perspectives include: Social Semiotics, experiential learning and cultural-psychological approaches to visual art, ICT, narratives and creativity. Frølunde runs the Danish part of the collaborative research project “Making a Filmmaker” (2008-09) about how, where, and why young Scandinavian filmmakers learn about filmmaking. Her doctoral thesis Animated Symbols: A study of young people designing animation films and transforming meaning (2009) is from the Danish School of Education, Aarhus University.
