Osama Mansour

Osama Mansour is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science with a major in Information Systems at the School of Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics at Linnaeus University (Lnu) in Sweden since November 2008. He holds a Masters degree in Information Systems from Lund University, Sweden. His Ph.D. research focuses on exploring the use of Social Media and Web 2.0 technologies in organizations. In particular, the research aims to provide an understanding of the effects and implications of using social network and collaborative technologies to support collaborative activities, social interactions, and knowledge sharing.

He is affiliated with the Center for Learning and Knowledge Technologies (CeLeKT) where he participates in research seminars and other research activities to explore about the role of Social Media in different social and organizational contexts. He is also affiliated with the Swedish Research School of Management and Information Technology (MIT) where he attends regular MIT seminars and discusses his research with junior and senior researchers.
